Soloy has developed this versatile and convenient swiveling seat installation designed to be used with the Soloy Observer’s Window installation for Law Enforcement Surveillance Operations.

  • 7 locking seat positions: Right, Forward, Left, and Aft with 45 degree stops 
  • Utilizes one existing Cessna center row seat
  • Fully adjustable padded armrests
  • Shoulder harness adaptation included (color match webbing available)

Specially designed for Airborne Law Enforcement operators of Cessna 206 aircraft, the Soloy window installation offers significant visibility improvement for rear seat observer personnel during surveillance missions.  The window measures roughly 20" wide by 30"  tall and is made of .187" thick clear Acrylic Poly Cast II.

To date we have delivered more than 50 of these windows to the DEA, US Marshalls, RCMP and other law enforcement agencies. The kit is optionally available for field installations.  Labor requirement about 50 man hours.  Weight change is 4.45 lbs.

Soloy Cessna 206 Headliner Kit

FAA STC# SA01688SE issued July, 2006 for all Cessna 206H & T206H Aircraft

 

Soloy has received many reports of insufficient rear seat head clearance and uncomfortable Pilot / copilot shoulder harness configuration in the Cessna 206H model aircraft for observer activities. In response Soloy has developed and certified a headliner retrofit kit that can be installed with or without the Soloy swivel seat installation.

  • Nearly 5 inches of added rear seat head clearance
  • Comfortable 4-point Pilot & Copilot restraint system (color match webbing available)
  • Requires about 20 hours labor to install
  • Weight change less than 1 lb.
