In 1987 Soloy was commissioned by General Motors Corp (Now Rolls-Royce) to develop three Bell helicopter applications for their new generation 250-C20R engine. As a result, Soloy obtained FAA STCs # SH4169 NM, SH4179NM, SH4729NM & SH4781NM as assignee for GM.

Now, after 200 successful modifications the C20R conversion continues to be a great choice for adding excellent hot & high performance to an already great helicopter.
  
The 680 engine conversion kits are inexpensive and easy to install. The 250-C20R2/R4 engines are available from Rolls-Royce and their AMCs located throughout the world. The airframe conversion kits supplied by Soloy are as follows:

680-1000-1 for 206L
680-1000-3 for 206B (non performance improvement)
680-1000-5 for 206BIII (performance Improvement)
